When someone goes out of their way to call you a son of a female dog, it's difficult not to correct them and tell them that you are, in fact, the son of a witch, not the rather childish expletive they just used to insult you. And by you I mean me, of course. Teruki reached higher, straining his arm. He was so close! The sixteen year old boy pushed himself up a little more on the branch he was perched on, and finally deposited the little baby bird back into its nest.
